So how come I could not win a title in my year at Femina Miss India(just occurred this year)
It seems so easy.. so straightforward.. what did I do wrong?
Like its an ego thing.
Sometimes it is about timing!! And experience. Harshita Saxena won Miss India Earth in 2008 but then in 2009 she missed the crown. She's back in 2010 competing at I Am She (Miss Universe India). In 2001, Shruti Sharma took part and failed to even make Top 10. In 2002 with more experience she came back and won the Miss India World title. 2010 the batch is the strongest in history. Manasvi and Nicole will easily win Miss World and Miss Earth. But des[ite being such strong batch girls like Dimple Patel and Alisha Pekha both took part for the 2nd time. Dimple made Top 5 this year even though last year she didnt even place and last years batch was weak. And Alisha made Top 10 even though in 2008 she didn't make Top 10. Point is you have to be willing to chase ur dream and not give up just like Harshita Saxena.For all u know she'll win Miss Universe this year and then everyone will imagine what wud have happened had she decided not to take part for the 3rd time. Or she make not even make the cut!!
